I am a product of the New York City School System. I attended the High School of Music and Art and graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art Education and Painting. I've also received a Master of Arts degree from Montclair State University in Fine Arts. I have taught both fine and commercial art in elementary, middle and high schools, the art school, college and university levels from New England to Florida.
